When do we have to make our grade decisions by? Can we wait until we know our final grades to make this choice?

Why are we giving $17M to students rather than $35M?
The money comes in two parts. The $17.6 million is for student aid and the remainder is for institutional aid. The institutional piece is to support unanticipated campus costs associated with this pandemic. We will be using it so that we can continue to provide laptops and hotspots to our students and employees who are operating remotely. We need to invest in our IT capacity, train faculty and staff and expand our remote learning resources so that we can be successful this summer and if we have to go virtual in the fall. We will need to expand our current licenses and invest in new software and equipment for remote learning.
